Would you like your child to get to know horses – Lipizzaners in a different way? This can be done in our programme Lipizzaner – man’s friend in which even the admirers of Lipizzan horses can find out more about them: the way they see, hear, feel, think and communicate. We will teach children how to approach Lipizzaners, how to greet, touch and brush it and how to take care about their hooves and the like. This is a new programme of the State Stud Farm Đakovo where you and your child can have a unique experience through spending time together in a direct contact with your new friend.

What is the Lipizzaner – man’s friend programme?

What does the programme include?
The programme Lipizzaner-man’s friend includes:
- Learning the basics about the Stud Farm and visit the stables at Pastuharna
- Learning how horses communicate with people and the environment around them
- Getting to know about horses’ care and diet
- Getting to know the riding equipment
- Learning how to approach a horse in the right way
- Team photograph
- Making your first steps in a saddle with the help of your trainer
- Visit to the souvenir shop
Programme Duration: 30 – 40 minutes
Who is this programme intended for?
The programme is intended for children age 6 and up.
Price of the programme: 60.00 kn per child (7,96 €)
Programme Schedule: to be agreed and booked with the Tourism Department. There should be no more than 5 children in a group at the same time.
